About SYP Media, LLC

SYP Media, LLC is the company behind Prospect & Flourish. Founded by Keith F. Luscher in 2013 and run from Newark, Ohio, it is a one-person, owner-operated firm built on a single standard — Serve Your Prospects — applied across sales training, fractional CMO engagements, and a few smaller projects that all answer to the same rule: earn trust before you ask for anything.

The name is the whole point

Let me start with the name, because it tells you most of what you need to know. SYP stands for Serve Your Prospects. It is not a product, a program, or a department — it is the standard I try to run everything against. (You will see that phrase in a few places on this site: it is also the name of my weekly LinkedIn newsletter, and it is the spirit underneath the training. That is not brand sprawl. It is one idea I keep pointing at from different directions.)

The fact is, most people in service-relationship sales have been handed the opposite instruction their whole careers: go get the sale, hit the number, and figure out the service part later. Serve Your Prospects flips the order. Serve first — genuinely, before there is anything in it for you — and the trust that makes everything else possible starts to build. That is the company in four words.

Why it is a company of one

SYP Media is me. One person. I know the reflex is to read that as a limitation, and in some ways it is — I am not going to pretend I can do the work of a fifteen-person agency. But for what this site is about, being a shop of one is the feature, not the bug.

Here is why. There is no junior team ghost-writing under my name, and there is no separate "client voice" that differs from the one you are reading right now. What you find across Prospect & Flourish — the curriculum, the daily posts, the newsletter — comes from the same head and the same set of principles I bring to my fractional CMO clients (currently Alpha Automotive in Columbus and the Authentic Leadership Foundation in Dallas). I do not keep one rulebook for people who pay me and another for everybody else. There is one voice, because there is one set of principles.

What this means to you is simple: the person who wrote what you are reading is the person you would actually be dealing with. No bait-and-switch.

The same standard, everywhere

Prospect & Flourish is the flagship — the trust-first formation program this whole site is built around. The fractional CMO work is where I put those same principles to work inside other people's businesses, usually across a twelve-month engagement. (That side of things lives at serveyourprospects.com.)

The standard does not stop at the work that pays, though. I built Camille — a free, browser-based editor for cleaning up AI-generated web pages — because I needed it and figured plenty of other people did too, so I gave it away. And under Family Media Memories, I digitize old family film, tape, and photos here in Central Ohio, by hand, with no AI "enhancement" laid over the originals. (Some memories only get one shot. You do not gamble those on an algorithm.)

Different work, same rule every time: serve the person in front of you, tell them the truth, and do not dress up a thin offering with a loud promise.

Where I land on technology

Since I just took a swing at algorithms, let me be clear about something, because it gets misread. I am not anti-technology, and I am certainly not anti-automation. I have spent thirty years working with marketing tools, and I use plenty of them — including AI — every week. Delegate to the tools; do not abdicate to them. That is the whole line.

What I am against is the hype. The industry has gotten loud, and more than a little ridiculous, about what the newest tool is supposedly going to do for you — and most of that noise quietly erodes the one thing that actually moves business forward: TRUST, which still takes time and cannot be hacked. Without trust, all your tech and AI are meaningless. I have watched that hold true for three decades, and nothing on a product-launch livestream has changed it yet.

None of this works without trust — including whatever might happen between you and me. So there is no pitch here. If the way I have laid it out sounds like someone you would want in your corner, get oriented, take a look at the program, and go at your own pace.
